How to practice vocabulary?

2. Try to look up words that are important for the context

advice - give somebody advice
appointment. I have an appointment with my doctor on Friday at 2pm. She has a hairdresser appointment tomorrow at 1pm.

compassion:
a feeling of wanting to help someone who is sick, hungry, in trouble, etc.


  • He felt compassion for the lost child.

commitment: a promise to do or give something
choice: Do you want to go out tonight or do you want to stay home? You have to make a choice. (= You have to decide)

ceiling: the inside top part of a room, opposite the floor.
